Do those things you fear (It's good for you).

How many things will you do in your business this week that take you out of your comfort zone?

If you’re like me, you’ll stay neatly within your comfort zone for as long as you can. It’s warm and safe there. And the older I get, the less likely I am to venture out of it. But the reality is that the more you challenge yourself, the more you grow, and perhaps the slower you age.

The more you practice getting out of your comfort zone, the easier it gets, and the less scary it becomes.

The reality is that with the world changing as quickly as it is right now, the more dangerous it becomes to stay where you are as a business, brand, or as an individual planning your career. Change is the safest option.

So why not try something small first that scares you? I did this recently by putting three new courses up on Teachable. All my materials had been on my own website, but the Teachable platform offers all kinds of versatility for the student that I can’t offer from my own site. It comes at a cost, but then it gives students better value. It was something new that I felt uncomfortable about doing. But having now done it, the feedback has been great. Then I find myself asking 'why didn't I do it earlier?'

What are you going to do this week that’s new and just a little scary?
